Head of Audiences & Communications, Black Country Living Museum
Claire is Black Country Living Museum’s Head of Audiences & Communications, responsible for all marketing and public relations activity. Always preferring words over numbers, Claire’s career began in journalism. She wrote about model cars and full-size cars before making the move into marketing by joining Indian conglomerate Tata Motors. Following multiple trips to India and new product announcements, Claire looked for something closer to home and joined the University of Birmingham where she was responsible for promoting the University’s medical research, from cancer to Covid-19. Always eager to rejoin the tourism industry after a holiday job at Warwick Castle, Claire joined the Museum in July 2022, proudly celebrating her region’s heritage.
