Visitor Attraction Director, Castle Howard
Abbi has been an integral part of the team at North Yorkshire stately home, Castle Howard, for 7 years. The role is certainly varied and has involved opening a new adventure playground, working on events ranging from BBC Countryfile Live through to Ellie Goulding’s wedding, growing the iconic Christmas event, doubling the Membership numbers and managing a fair amount of filming activity, from Bridgerton to Channel 4’s year long observational documentary. During the pandemic Castle Howard used Cultural Recovery Funding to accelerate online ticketing and built a bespoke membership portal, always thinking about the customer journey and the visitor need.
